Christmas is fast approaching that there are many children that do not get to experience the joy and excitement of having presents under the tree. United Team International has a vision to continue the Annual Spirit of Giving in Zapata, Texas. The vision to help families in Zapata, Texas started in 2009. Families that are in serious financial need are blessed with a turkey for their Christmas meal and gifts for the children. For many children, these were the only presents they received for the holidays. Every year, it is an emotional experience to see so many little faces light up for food and sincerely appreciate a stranger's love and compassion. Although this is a one-day event, we pray that it impacts the rest of their lives by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. We ask you to be a part of the Annual Spirit of Giving in Zapata and contribute to the funds needed to reach this year's goal. Your donation will support us carry out this program and minister to these families. We have faith that God's plan for us is to continue to show that there are many people, like you and I, who love others through the body of Christ. Any donation whether large or small will impact the lives of these families and children. Below are examples of what your donation will provide $10 donation will provide 1 gift $25 donation will provide 1 turkey and 1 gift $50 donation will provide a turkey and 4 gifts If you are interested in donating gently used toys, these too, would be greatly appreciated and can help meet if not exceed our goal for this year. Gently used toys would also include stuffed animals in good condition. These donations can be brought to Community Church International or pick up arrangements can be made.
